Mackage is one of Canada’s most prominent clothing lines, and this season they have shown how strong they are with their Fall/Winter 2016 collection during Toronto Fashion Week.
The collection is inspired by the idea of a fashion-forward urban metropolis overrun by a severe cold front, Mackage’s carefully curated assembly of womenswear, menswear, accessories and handbags showcased embroidered parkas, colourful furs, layered wool coats, bold designs and of course Mackage’s signature stamp – leather detailing and motorcycle jackets. Conversely, the aesthetic of the runway environment was sleek and minimalistic, incorporating monochromatic colour schemes, ice inspired props and hints of utilitarian accents.
Aside from a great collection the music is provided by DJ Brendan Fallis who has been a Mackage staple.
